Nilotika Cultural Ensemble ( NCE ) is Cultural Entrepreneurship Grounded in African spirituality and indigenous identity, NCE is an arts based community organisation based in Kampala. The capital city of Uganda. Open to all children, youths, adults and elders, NCE serves as a hub for groups and individuals who are passionate about music, dance, music production, fashion design, tailoring and African crafts, community volunteering works and also recycling wasted materials into useful music instruments, art facts, which helps to cup up the challenges of climate changes.
NCE Under the stewardship of Jajja Kalanda, the Ensemble provides an outlet for the youth of Uganda in skills like mentoring in spirituality, training traditional musical instruments, singing, dancing, music production tailoring and hand crafts making practices, Agriculture mostly to underprivileged communities around the cities, rural areas also performing at various events and providing platforms for the new generation.
A live performance by NCE highlights the power and intensity of the Buganda drums and other traditional musical instruments.
