At the heart of Kampala, Uganda, Nilotika Cultural Ensemble (NCE) stands as a beacon of Cultural Entrepreneurship, deeply rooted in African spirituality and indigenous identity. We are an arts-based community organisation that welcomes everyone – children, youths, adults, and elders alike. Our mission is to serve as a vibrant hub for those who hold a deep passion for music, dance, music production, fashion design, tailoring, and African crafts. Under the wise stewardship of Jajja Kalanda, Nilotika Cultural Ensemble offers a sanctuary for the youth of Uganda to explore and enhance their talents. We provide mentorship in spirituality, training in traditional musical instruments, singing, dancing, music production, tailoring, and handcraft making. Additionally, we engage in agriculture, supporting (mostly underprivileged) communities in both urban and rural settings. Our Ensemble also takes pride in performing at various events, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Uganda.
